Bush Brothers to expand in Augusta with WEDC tax credits

MADISON, February 6, 2012 – Governor Scott Walker announced today that Bush Brothers & Company, Augusta, is eligible for up to $1.5 million in Economic Development Tax Credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to assist the company’s expansion.

Bush Brothers & Company is planning a $60 million project to expand and equip its facility inAugusta. Bush Brothers has committed to retain 147 positions at the location.

The tax credits will be used to reimburse the company for a portion of its capital investment. WEDC will approve the tax credits over three years.

The WEDC is Wisconsin’s lead economic development agency.
