Uline brings business from MN to WI

Uline Shipping Supply Specialists broke ground Dec. 16 for a new 600,000 square foot warehouse. The family company is moving its operation across the border from its Eagan, MN distribution center to a 63 acre lot on the south side of Hanley Road. The $25 million dollar relocation will bring 150 jobs to Wisconsin.

“It’s an exciting day when a company breaks ground on a project of this size in Wisconsin,” said Governor Walker. “I’m thrilled Uline decided to build its expanded distribution center here in our great state, where the company has such deep ties.”

The Hudson location is expected to to open in the Summer of 2013. It will serve customers in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Northern Wisconsin. Uline is a family owned business that supplies packaging and shipping supplies to businesses. They stock more than 25,000 items in each of the nine branch locations across North America.

Uline company headquarters are located in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
