Trade relations between the United States and China have grown dramatically over the last several decades, while diplomatic ties have deteriorated. The Center for International Business Education and Research at the Wisconsin School of Business is hosting a forum on January 20 to gain insights into the complex relations between the U.S. and China and how it impact U.S. business on a global scale.
Craig Allen, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA), will provide insights into the political relationship between the two nations and how what it means for U.S. trade.
The event is cosponsored by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), along with the Madison International Trade Association, and UW-Madison China Initiative. The forum is at the Fluno Center on Friday, January 20, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Register online at http://mitatrade.org/events.
