The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has launched its new web site – www.wedc.org.
The WEDC was created by the Legislature to take over the economic and community development functions of the Department of Commerce starting July 1.The new web site is part of the transition into branding WEDC as the leading economic development organization inWisconsin.
The new site promotes WEDC services and features easy-to-find contact information for businesses looking to start or expand inWisconsin, and resources for entrepreneurs and innovators. The site includes international business development resources and current news of the organization. Several items are still in the construction stage including a robust site locator tool and WEDC’s focus on target industries.
The WEDC is Wisconsin’s lead economic development agency.
