Wisconsin Small Business Development Centers

SBDC imageThe Wisconsin Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provides advice, training, and resources for entrepreneurs and small companies. SBDCs help businesses create jobs and connect entrepreneurs and small business owners with knowledge, tools, and resources from here and around the world. Through its partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration the Wisconsin SBDC also focuses on high impact businesses, innovation, and long-term counseling.

Wisconsin’s SBDC network consists of twelve service centers and three specialty centers located at four-year University of Wisconsin campuses whose significant educational and research resources provide the SBDC network with a vast array of expertise. The SBDCs conduct classroom training throughout the state that can provide skills and knowledge for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Classes revolve around various topics including starting, financing and managing a business. The SBDCs also offer the Entrepreneurial Training Program. This program is an 8 to 12-week classroom course that provides assistance with business plan development.
