The Office of Rural Prosperity has launched a webpage with resources to help communities access funding under the wide-ranging new law.

In light of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) recently passed by Congress, WEDC’s Office of Rural Prosperity has launched a webpage dedicated to providing communities with essential information about the BIL. On the new webpage, communities can find details on grant opportunities, tutorials on how to apply for grants, and contact details for consultants with expertise in grantwriting, among other resources.

Under the BIL, $550 billion in funding will be made available through fiscal year 2024 for infrastructure and workforce development. Possible uses include expanding high-speed internet access, removing lead pipes, developing clean energy, and other environmental health and public safety measures. The BIL specifically focuses on rural communities to broaden the reach of economic development efforts.

Visit the Office of Rural Prosperity’s BIL webpage to learn more and access resources.
