WORKFORCE TRAINING GRANTS

WEDC’s Workforce Training Grants provide funds to businesses to upgrade or improve the job-related skills of full-time employees needed to expand into new markets or to take advantage of new technology.

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY LOAN FUND

WEDC’s Business Opportunity Loan Fund helps companies achieve the bridge financing they need to grow their operations in Wisconsin in cases where expansion retains or creates jobs and brings economic benefit to the local community.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TAX CREDIT

WEDC’s Business Development Tax Credit Program supports job creation, capital investment, training and the location of corporate headquarters by providing companies with refundable tax credits, allowing a refund for those businesses with no income tax liability.

MANUFACTURING AND AGRICULTURE CREDIT

The Manufacturing and Agriculture Credit is available for income derived from manufacturing or agricultural activity in Wisconsin. The credit results in an effective tax rate of just 0.4%, leaving more of your income to reinvest in your business.
