Construction recently began on a new $20 million manufacturing facility for Faith Technologies with the finished project expected to add 275 jobs to the Outagamie County workforce in Wisconsin’s Fox Valley over the next three years.
Faith Technologies is a leading full-service electrical, engineering and technology systems contractor. Founded in 1972, the employee-owned company is headquartered in Menasha, Wisconsin, and has 20 locations in nine states.
Once completed, the 225,000-square-foot facility in Little Chute will house the company’s Excellerate division, which is an electrically focused manufacturer of made-to-order assemblies serving the energy, manufacturing, supply chain and construction landscape. Excellerate also provides custom-engineered construction solutions that drive cost savings, schedule compression and safety excellence. With locations in Oshkosh, Neenah and Appleton, Wisconsin, focusing on manufacturing and assembly work for electrical construction, the new Little Chute facility will be the hub for product innovation and research and development in the areas of energy, microgrids, modular builds, e-houses and specialty engineering.
The building will operate off the traditional energy grid thanks to a natural energy microgrid built by Faith Technologies and Excellerate Manufacturing.
WEDC is supporting the project by authorizing up to $800,000 in state income tax credits over the next three years. The actual amount of tax credits is contingent upon the number of jobs created during that period. In addition to the 275 jobs expected to be created by the company, an economic modeling study estimates the project could indirectly generate 136 additional jobs in the region. Those 411 total new jobs are expected to generate more than $3 million in state income tax revenue over a five-year period.
