The Village of Holmen is located in western Wisconsin’s scenic Coulee Region, just north of the City of Onalaska and the La Crosse metropolitan area. The community lies along U.S. Highway 53 and Wisconsin State Highway 35, providing direct access to Interstate 90 and regional population centers throughout western Wisconsin, southeastern Minnesota, and northeastern Iowa. With a population of more than 12,000 and growing rapidly, Holmen combines small-town character with proximity to urban amenities in La Crosse, only 10 miles to the south. The North Holmen Industrial Area – ALT Investments site, located on the north side of Holmen near Schaller Boulevard and Highway 35, contains 18.8 acres of contiguous, developable land.
