West Central Wisconsin
Located on the Mississippi River within the Driftless Region, this area is known for steep bluffs, cliffs, and deeply carved rivers. It’s famously a hotspot for bald eagles—not to mention a few well-known company headquarters. This area also boasts the fifth-largest campus of the Universities of Wisconsin, UW-La Crosse. Within this region, you’ll find both a commercial airport and a commercial port in addition to rail, state highway, and interstate systems.
