Sanacor’s first mission is to reverse diabetic cardiovascular disease. The company’s scientific foundation is built on nearly two decades of research funded by NIH, the American Heart Association, and Diabetes Complications Consortium. Sanacor also has begun early work to explore other areas where its key target is implicated such as diabetic kidney and eye disease, neurodegeneration, oncology and rare mitochondrial diseases.
