Promoting the program
Thank you for partnering with WEDC to raise awareness of Wisconsin’s Fab Lab Day on April 30, 2024.
18 Wisconsin school districts are receiving over $493,000 in grants to establish or grow fabrication laboratories throughout the state. These labs offer students the opportunity to gain the hands-on experience and training preparation needed for jobs in science, technology, engineering, art and math.
Typical equipment found in a Fab Lab include 3D printers, laser engravers, computer numerical control routers, and plasma cutters.
Some spaces also include manufacturing equipment that can help teach students skills that can apply to a future career.
Below, you’ll find sample social post statuses and graphics that can be used to help you and your networks generate awareness for this exciting day.
