Agawato is a high-tech startup based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. We have developed and demonstrated a novel single-process wastewater treatment system that permanently destroys PFAS. Agawato’s system greatly minimizes accidental environmental contamination, because frequent filter replacements and secondary PFAS disposal are not required. This system is very effective at high PFAS concentrations and far safer than systems that utilize filters or adsorbents to separate and collect the PFAS.
